Filmed over a period of 18 years by DeSean’s brother, Byron Jackson, the documentary provides an intimate portrait of a father’s drive, wrapped in an NFL dream.

Bill Jackson was a man of courage whose blinding faith took his two sons to the NFL. Byron, landed a contract with the Kansas City Chiefs, and DeSean was the first player in the NFL to be selected at two different positions when he was named to the  2010 Pro Bowl  as a wide receiver and return specialist. Today, DeSean is a wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles. Despite his small frame, being measured at 5'9¾ " and just over 170 pounds, DeSean Jackson has been named the  author of the greatest play in NFL history.

Byron’s passion was filmmaking and he dropped out of football. There was an incident between Bill and Byron, and the two didn’t speak for two years.

DeSean’s undeniable ability helped bring them back together and they joined forces. With time and a strong family bond. Bill recruited Byron to help train and develop DeSean. Bill brought in four other former pro players and track stars to form what they called, "Team Jackson"—men that also came just shy of athletic excellence—Darrick Davis, Irving Booker, Gary Cablayan, and Travis Clark. DeSean’s adopted family of football mentors became like brothers, as they raised this eager young kid on a steady diet of pro-level workouts and character building, the master plan for the making of a future ‘first rounder’.

This amazing documentary has rare footage of young DeSean preparing for

the NFL career of a lifetime.

When Bill Jackson was struck down with Pancreatic cancer, he never gave up his will to see DeSean play his second playoff game for the NFC Championship from his hospital room in 2009. But the Philadelphia Eagles lost and it wasn’t until the following year, in 2010 that DeSean went to the Pro Bowl and made NFL history, by being the first player to be selected at two positions in the same year.

Unfortunately, Bill Jackson passed away in May of 2009, so he was unable to watch his son make NFL history.

If you believe in miracles, there was a light in the sky that lit up the field two nights before the Pro Bowl game in January 2010 (two days before Bill’s birthday) that was saying to his sons….“I’m watching.”  That Pro Bowl Game was played on Bill’s birthday, January 31, 2010….and he surely must have been watching from above….
